Superbridge will never message you first, and will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer.
Never share your recovery phrase (seed phrase) or private key with anyone, for any reason. Anyone who has it can take everything in your wallet.
We never message you first
Scammers pretend to be support staff on X, Discord, Telegram and in replies to your posts. They offer to "fix" a stuck transfer or "validate" your wallet.
Real Superbridge support:
- Only talks to you after you start a chat from this help center.
- Never asks for your recovery phrase, private key or wallet password.
- Never asks you to send funds, connect to another site or sign something to "unlock" a transfer.
If someone contacts you first claiming to be Superbridge, ignore them.
Check you're on the real site
Fake sites copy Superbridge's design to trick you into signing harmful transactions.
- Type the address yourself or use a bookmark, rather than following links from ads, DMs or search results.
- Check the address in your browser bar before you connect your wallet.
- Superbridge's own sites are on superbridge.app and its subdomains, such as help.superbridge.app. Chains that use Superbridge for their own bridge have their own addresses. Get those from the chain's official website.
Be careful with approvals and signatures
An approval lets a contract move a token from your wallet. A malicious approval can let someone drain that token later.
- Only approve and sign on sites you trust.
- Read what your wallet asks you to sign. If you don't understand it, don't sign it.
- Review and remove old approvals from time to time. Approvals
If you've been scammed
- Stop using the affected wallet. Move any remaining funds to a new wallet with a new recovery phrase.
- Remove approvals from the affected wallet, if it still has funds.
- Report the scam to the platform where it happened.
- Contact us with the wallet address and transaction hashes. We can't reverse blockchain transactions, but we can check what happened and report scam sites.
