When Superbridge shows Transaction failed, the network rejected your transaction. The tokens you were sending stay in your wallet. You still pay the network fee for the attempt, because the network did the work of checking it.
Nothing was sent
A failed start transaction doesn't move any tokens. Check your wallet on the chain you sent from: your balance is the same, minus the network fee.
If the transfer started but a later delivery step failed, your tokens are held by the bridge until the step succeeds. Open it in Activity to see which step failed. Still stuck?
Common causes
- Not enough gas. Network fees rose between the quote and your transaction, or your gas balance was too low. Network fees
- The price moved. For swaps, the price changed by more than your Max slippage before the transaction confirmed. Slippage
- Your balance changed. You sent or spent some of the token from another app before this transaction confirmed.
- The network was congested. Busy networks sometimes drop or reject transactions that would normally succeed.
If you cancel a request in your wallet, nothing is sent. Superbridge doesn't treat that as a failure; select Start again when you're ready.
Try again
- Select Go back. You return to the review screen.
- Check that you have enough gas for the Network fees shown.
- For swaps, consider raising Max slippage a little in Settings. Slippage
- Select Start and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
If the quote is no longer available, you'll see Quote expired instead. Quote expired
